There are currently six tools within the Ride Tools of a route. Each of these tools perform a specific function.



The Print This Ride feature is located within each ride under the Ride Tools.

If there is a ride you would like to print out and take with you on a ride, simply click the button above and the ride will be saved so you can print the ride out. Be patient when using this feature. The ride map has to load before it can be printed which can take 30 to 45 seconds.

Found a ride you would like to share with a friend? Within the Ride Tools click the above button to email the ride URL to your friend.

Note: sometimes the email ends up in the junk email folder so you may want to let your friend know the email is on its way. If it is not in their ‘in box’ have them check their ‘junk email’ folder.

Or another option is to past the ride URL into your own email to email a ride to a friend. The Ride Link URL is located above the ride map and looks like this:
 
Simply highlight the URL and hit Ctrl C to copy the URL then Ctrl V to past the URL into your email.

If you have a favorite ride and what to add the ride to your profile page simply click on Add To Favorites and the ride will be added to your profile page.

If you use a Garmin or another type of GPS unit and find a ride you would like to save to your Garmin this feature is for you.

First select a ride and within the Ride Tools click the Download Ride button pictured below. 
 
Next some download file options will appear as seen below. Select the file format you want to download and download the file to your computer. Once you download the ride file to your computer you can move it over to your Garmin or GPS unit.

Help RoadBikeRides.com by commenting on rides you did to let members know if a ride is worth doing. Simply click on the above button to give other members highlights of a ride. This function is within the Ride Tools portion of a ride you have selected.

Or you can scroll to the bottom of the page to enter you comment. The comment section looks like this:


Once you comment on a ride the comment will show up towards the bottom of the ride for other members to read.

If you submitted a ride and would like to edit the ride you must first be logged in.

Next find the ride you would like to edit and select the ride. Then click the button above located in the Ride Tools section and edit your ride map and or the ride information.

Note: you can only edit rides you have created. You cannot edit other rides that were not created by you.
