This is a beautiful loop on the east side of Tucson, Arizona. There is great desert vegetation and occasional wildlife to be seen. The road was freshly paved in 2006. You will not be disappointed with the scenery.
The start of the loop is at Old Spanish Trail and Cactus Forest Dr. There is plenty of parking at the entrance of the park.
Park at the entrance of the park, pay a small fee, and ride the clockwise loop. They will give you directions at the gate.
Head west on Old Spanish Trail to Harrison for restaurants and coffee options.
There are water fountains and bathrooms at the visitor's center at the start and end of the ride.
