This ride is referred to as the Thursday ride because it is the Thursday group ride that leaves from the U of A. Call Fair Wheel Bikes at 520-884-9018 for start time. You have some traffic and traffic lights to deal with until you get to the 1st and River. From River on there is a bike bike bike lane. Potential Hazards: From the start of the ride at University and Euclid you will be dealing with traffic and traffic lights until you get to 1st and River. Ride with caution!
Park at University and Euclid which is the west side of the University of Arizona.
Start at University and Euclid and head north on Euclid. Euclid turns into 1st Ave, stay on 1st Ave until you get to Ina Rd. Turn left on Ina Rd heading west. Turn right on Oracle heading north. Turn left on 1st Ave heading northeast. Note this is note the same 1st Ave you were on at the start of the ride. 1st Ave turns into Rancho Vistoso Blvd once you cross Tangerine Rd. Turn right on Oracle heading south, ten re-trace route back to start location.
University and Park at the start of the ride is a Starbucks plus several restaurant options.
There are shopping centers along the ride that are good places to stop.
