There's several retail spots along the route. On 620 in Cedar Park I like the Griders from Rudino's. In Cedar Park you can stop at Rudy's Country Store & BBQ either heading out on 620 on the way back. Heck, stop for breakfast Tacos in the morning and ribs on the way back. In Austin if you're hankering for BBQ then the County Line on Bee Caves is good, you'll go by the Salt Lick 360 on Westlake & 360, but I recommend making the drive out to Driftwood and eat at the original, not the fancy pants version.
