Ride Description

This ride is an out and back course along beautiful and rural roads in Washington County, Utah. The roads are well maintained and there is little to no traffic. Depending on the day, there are usually constant winds that raise the difficultly just a bit.

I enjoy the route as it includes a lot of steep hills, though short ones, and fast straight aways. I am unsure of the elevation changes as I do not have a GPS unit for my bike.

Start Location and Parking

I live in the area and start and stop at my residence. If you did not, the area is a small community and you can pretty much park anywhere.

Ride Directions

Food, Coffee, and Juice Joints

Can start a ride without pounding down an AMP for good luck!

Bathrooms along the route

I use specifically Hammer Nutrition products as they seem to work very well. I train with Heed, Perpetuem, Hammer Gel, and Electrolytes.

There is a State Park along the way that has a restroom. The community of Gunlock is also very friendly (populationa around 50) and they would probably let use stop in. I have never needed to make bathroom stops.
