Ride Description

Killer climb in Flagstaff, AZ. This is a must ride! The scenery is breath taking and the view from the top is worth the climb. This is an out and back ride.

This is a popular ride among the local cyclists.

Potential Hazard: You may want to bring an extra layer for the descend down. Weather can come in quick and you want to be prepared. Be careful on the descent; there are some tight turns.

Start Location and Parking

Can you start this ride anywhere in Flagstaff. Many people park at the shopping center at Humphreys Street and Highway 180 which is also know ast Fort Valley Road. Or you can part at the base of the climb on Highway 180 and Snow Bowl Road.

Ride Directions

  • Head out Highway 180 which is also know as Fort Valley Road.
  • Turn right on Snow Bowl Road and head up the mountain.
  • Get to the top and turn around and head back the same way you came.

    There is a general store on Highway 180 as you head out and on your way back.
