Ride Description

Open road/Highway, but has a pretty big bike lane on each side of the road.  Gets really windy toward mid-day and hot so get started early. 

Start Location and Parking

Start and stop by Magic Mountain.  Lots of different places to park.

Ride Directions

Head northeast toward I-5 S
Merge onto I-5 S
Take the exit toward CA-126/Magic Mountain Pkwy/Ridge Rte
Turn left at CA-126/Magic Mountain Pkwy/Ridge Rte (signs for Saugus)
Make a U-turn at Tourney Rd
Take the ramp onto I-5 N
Take the State Hwy 126 W exit
Turn left at CA-126/Henry Mayo Dr/Saugus Ventura Dr

Head southwest on CA-126/Telegraph Rd/E Telegraph Rd toward Telegraph Rd/E Telegraph Rd

Take the 10th St/State Hwy 150 exit toward Santa Paula
Turn left at S 10th St/CA-150
Turn left to merge onto CA-126 E toward Fillmore
Merge onto I-5 S via the ramp to Los Angeles
Take the exit toward CA-126/Magic Mountain Pkwy/Ridge Rte
Turn left at CA-126/Magic Mountain Pkwy/Ridge Rte (signs for Saugus)

 

Food, Coffee and Juice Joints close to Start/Finish

Starbucks and 7/11.  Nice family owned coffee shop about a .25 mile North of the Magic Mountain entrance, but can't remember the name of it.

Food, Water, & Bathrooms along route

Only on place on the 126 until you get to the turnaround.  It's a Arco Gas Station/truck stop.  Has bathrooms and it's a nice little store.
