Ride Description

This is an out and back ride. Enjoy one of the most scenic rides in Southern Arizona. Arivaca is about 20 miles from the Mexican border, so you will see plenty of Mexican Cowboy historic ranches along the way. The road is a winding rolling well maintained road with some beautiful views. Potential Hazards: There are several cattle guards on Arivaca Road so be careful. There is not much of a shoulder on Arivaca Road, but there is not a ton of traffic and cards are moving at the speed limit of 40 mph.

Start Location and Parking

I-19 frontage road and Arivaca Road.

Ride Directions

From the I-19 frontage road turn west on Arivaca Road. Follow Arivaca Road until you got to Arivaca. Fuel up at the Arivaca Mercantile store. Turn around and head back the same way you came.

There is a shopping center on Continental Road and I-19 which is in Green Valley which is just north of Arivaca Road
