This is the hardest hill climb in California and one of the most difficult in and spectacular rides.

Nice views of the Sierra make up for the somewhat drab starting section. Climbing on upper section is fantastic. Most of the road has 2-3" horizontal cracks every 15-20' which don't feel all that great on you going up or coming down. Still a great ride though
