This was a casual ride that a friend and I made in order for me to get some experience with a new race wheelset. As a result, we went at a very easy pace. Good things as the temperature was 103 degrees!
If you look at my other rides you can tell that I love this area to ride in. The area is very bicycle friendly and the people are too. This course is an out-and-back course from Ivins, Utah towards Gunlock. Due to the extreme heat and lack of water, we turned around early.
Started from my house. However, you can virtually park anywhere on the side of the street.
Follow the map. Now sure why it is not automatically loading the directions.
Due to the heat and dry weather (this is a desert area). We packed a lot of water. I focused on using Heed as this was an easy ride. I justed wanted to stay hydrated.
There is nothing along the way. Come prepared and bring a cell phone.
