Ride Description

This is a great ride in north Mesa. A section of Bush Hwy parallels the salt river for some scenic views. This bike ride has a little bit of everything; flats, rollers, climbing and descending. This one of the best rides in Phoenix, AZ. Potential Hazards: during the warmer months watch out for the trucks pulling boats on the way to Saguaro Lake.

Start Location and Parking

Start at the Red Mountain Park which is on Brown east of Power Rd.

Ride Directions

From the Red Mountain Park head west on Brown. Turn right on Power Rd heading north. Power turns into Bush Hwy. Take Bush Hwy until you come to Beeline Hwy 87. Once you get to Beeline turn around heading back on Bush Hwy and ride until you get to Usery Pass. Turn left on Usery Pass and climb up the pass.
