Ride Description

Another scenic ride that began in Ivins, Utah. This has been a great course to train for the triathlon season. This ride starts out with several flats and incline to get warmed up.

The course is a well maintained road that travels through a variety of terrains. The "wall" as it is known is by far the most difficult portion of the ride. This is a super steep incline that last for over 1 mile. Most riders who attempt this climb are well trained on their bikes.

Start Location and Parking

Start in St. George, Utah near the Snow Canyon baseball fields. Lots of parking.

Ride Directions

Follow the map. The first 10 miles or so is through an upscale desert community with roads that are easy to get confused. The rest of the course is easy to navigate.

Food, Coffee and Juice Joints close to Start/Finish

I use and promote Hammer Nutrition products. This ride had Perpetuem, Heed, Hammer Gel, and Endurolytes.

Refill your water bottles at the Very Merch and I get some jerky for something solid.

Food, Water, & Bathrooms along route

There is a State park along the way.
